This contract was carried out on a cottage in France
all the steel shutters had to be prepared for paint and then
painted, the masonry work is set to be completed by the end of
June.
The first phase of the masonry painting went ahead at the beginning
of June, as you can see from the latest pictures, the front of the
house has been completed. The owner wished to keep the render work
as near to its original colour as possible, so the first day was
spent attempting to mix the appropriate colour which was hindered
by the surprising lack of variety and high cost of paint in
France.
The stone decor around the windows and doors has been painted,
however this will be changed for an ivory colour upon the next
visit when it is hoped the gable can be completed
